“Terminator: Genisys” depicts a future taken over by machines.
In the film, we see San Francisco destroyed during a nuclear holocaust during a Judgment Day caused by the artificial intelligence Skynet.
But how would it look in real life if Judgment Day ever came?
For the film’s release on Blu-ray and DVD this week, Paramount asked four concept artists — Emmanuel Shiu (“Game of Thrones”), Jan Urschel (“Star Wars: Rogue One”), Pat Presley (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”), and Annemieke Loomis Hutchins (“Star Trek: Into Darkness”) to envision what it would look like if Terminator machines took over big cities.
Paramount shared the images of locations from New York City to Washington, D.C., with Tech Insider.
Keep reading to see how four big cities would look if taken over by Terminators.
