    Help Keep Killer Robots Fiction! 

    Killer robots have been a staple trope in fiction and entertainment for years.  New technology is permitting serious efforts to develop fully autonomous weapons. These robotic weapons would be able to choose and fire on targets on their own, without any human intervention. Mines Action Canada and the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots have multiple moral, ethical, legal, technical and policy concerns with the prospect of fully autonomous weapons. We believe that humans should not delegate the responsibility of making lethal decisions in conflict to machines.
