Will Arnold Schwarzenegger terminate his ties to forest destruction?

On Sunday, Showtime aired the premiere of Years of Living Dangerously, the first broadcast television show to address the climate crisis. In the first two episodes, Harrison Ford investigates how illegal palm oil plantations are driving deforestation and the release of massive amounts of carbon in the atmosphere.

We love the show, but Friends of the Earth and Global Witness discovered that one of its producers and stars, former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, is financing forest destruction. Schwarzenegger is part-owner of Dimensional Fund Advisors, a money manager with deep ties to forest destruction through logging and palm oil companies.

Let's hold Schwarzenegger to a higher standard. Tell him to pressure DFA to cut its ties with forest-destroying palm oil companies.
